Budapest–Split Night Train Service Resumes This Summer
Hungarian rail operator MÁV announced that its Adria InterCity night train will operate between Budapest and the Croatian coastal city of Split from July 3 to October 2. The service runs two to four times weekly, with departures in the evening from Budapest and arrivals the next morning in Split.
Tickets are sold online and range from €46 for a basic sleeper berth to €240 for a six‑person compartment. Passengers can choose between sleeping‑car and couchette accommodations and have access to a dining car for meals and breakfast. Seats are limited, prompting MÁV to recommend early purchase. Discounted fares for school groups are also planned for the autumn season.
