Budds Creek National hosts AMA Pro Motocross and WMX rounds

The tenth round of the 2026 AMA Pro Motocross Championship and the Women's Motocross Championship (WMX) will take place this weekend at Budds Creek Motocross Park in Mechanicsville, Maryland.

In the WMX title race, Lachlan Turner and Charli Cannon enter the penultimate round separated by 15 points. Following Turner's recent performance at Unadilla, the championship battle remains highly competitive. The event will feature expanded broadcast coverage, including live streaming on YouTube and a network television showcase on NBC for the second moto on Saturday.

Several professional riders face absences due to injuries. Notable sidelined athletes include Sexton, Hammaker, and Park, who are out for the season, as well as Oldenburg and Cochran, who will miss the Budds Creek event. Other riders, such as Savatgy, Shimoda, and Vohland, are working toward returns for the upcoming SMX World Championship Playoffs.
