Buddy Kofoid secured a commanding victory in the L. G. Everist Huset’s Shootout presented by Ace Ready Mix prelim at Huset’s Speedway in Brandon, South Dakota. Driving the Roth Motorsports No. 83 sprint car, the 24-year-old Penngrove, California native took the lead from Steven Snyder Jr. just seven laps into the race.

Kofoid maintained a high pace through heavy lapped traffic to claim the $15,000 payday. This win marks Kofoid’s 12th victory of the season with the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series, matching his total for the 2025 season. It also represents his ninth career win at Huset’s Speedway, moving him closer to the track's all-time records.
