Buddy Matthews withdrawn from WSW Megamania Tour

Professional wrestler Buddy Matthews will no longer appear on the World Series Wrestling (WSW) Megamania Tour due to scheduling conflicts. The Australian athlete had been slated to make his in-ring return during the tour, which is scheduled to run from October 29 through November 2.

Matthews has been sidelined since February 2025, when he suffered an ankle injury during AEW Grand Slam Australia while competing against Kazuchika Okada. Although he recently indicated he had been cleared by doctors and claimed to be in the best physical condition of his career, the planned comeback with the independent promotion has been canceled. WSW expressed disappointment regarding the change but stated they understand that schedules can change.
