Buddy’s Burger under investigation in Austin after indecent exposure allegations

Austin police and Austin Public Health are investigating an alleged incident of indecent exposure at Buddy’s Burger in Austin, Texas. The investigation follows social media posts that appeared to show an employee engaging in inappropriate behavior involving food.

Buddy’s Burger stated that the employee in question was fired mid-shift on September 1 after another employee reported indecent exposure. The restaurant emphasized a “zero-tolerance policy for inappropriate, disrespectful, or harmful behavior.”

While the Austin Police Department has confirmed its investigation, Austin Public Health’s Health Environmental Services Division is also reviewing the matter regarding food safety. Records indicate the establishment has maintained high inspection scores of 90 or above over the last two years.
