Summer festivals light up Germany and Austria in 2026

A series of outdoor festivals are scheduled across Germany and Austria during the summer of 2026. In Bad Wildungen, Germany, the Folk im Park event runs from 31 July to 1 August, featuring international folk and world‑music acts such as Lady Maisery and the Edgar Knecht Trio. The Nordheim Hoftage wine festival in Nordheim, Germany, takes place from 3–5 July, offering wine tastings, hand‑craft exhibitions and live music. Austria’s Carinthian Summer runs from 2 July to 2 August in the Ossiach Abbey area, combining concerts by artists like Hilary Hahn and literary talks with authors such as Robert Menasse. The “Love & Peace” Woodstock der Blasmusik festival returns to the Innkreis region from 2–5 July, expecting about 110 000 visitors and performances by more than 150 bands on nine stages.
