In the neighboring town of Eschborn, the FDP parliamentary group has lodged a request with the city council for a detailed cost forecast of its own heat‑planning project, to be delivered by 31 December 2026. The party seeks transparent estimates of network charges, average connection costs per dwelling, and projected energy prices per kilowatt‑hour for both centralized and decentralized supply options, arguing that clear financial data is essential for informed decision‑making and public acceptance.
