Budućnost and Mornar prepare for Montenegrin football derby

Budućnost Podgorica and Mornar Bar are set to face each other in a high-stakes derby for the 13th round of the Montenegrin First League. Both teams enter the match on unbeaten streaks, positioning them at the top of the table. Mornar currently holds 20 points, one point ahead of third-placed Budućnost, who have 19.

Budućnost, led by coach Srđan Nikić, has adopted an offensive philosophy following a recent 3-3 draw against Arsenal. Nikić emphasized the need for maturity and offensive consistency to secure a result against a strong Mornar side. Mornar, coached by Vesko Stešević, enters the match in good form following recent victories against Arsenal and Mladost DG.

In women's basketball, Budućnost Bemax is scheduled to host the Bulgarian team Rilski in the WABA league. Coach Petar Stojanović warned of a difficult match, noting that despite Rilski's 0-4 record, the team has significantly strengthened its roster with domestic and American players.
