Budućnost Voli president addresses Nikola Mirotić speculation

Dragan Bokan, president of the basketball club Budućnost Voli and head of the Basketball Federation of Montenegro, has addressed speculation regarding professional basketball player Nikola Mirotić. Bokan confirmed he recently met with Mirotić for a private conversation while the player was training in Montenegro.

Bokan clarified that there were no formal offers or specific contract negotiations during the meeting. Instead, the discussion covered Mirotić’s career and personal matters. Bokan expressed that the doors of both Budućnost Voli, which competes in the EuroCup, and the Montenegrin national team remain open to Mirotić should his professional ambitions and personal circumstances align with the club and federation.

Mirotić reportedly indicated that his primary interest remains the EuroLeague. Bokan emphasized that inviting such a successful Montenegrin athlete to join the club would be a great honor.
