Budva hemodialysis department to resume operations by late September

The hemodialysis department at the Budva Health Center is scheduled to resume operations by the end of September. This restoration of services will allow patients in Budva and surrounding areas to receive life-saving therapy within their own community.

To ensure the safe and high-quality implementation of the therapy, a modern water preparation system will be installed. The Ministry of Health noted that Brands Hotels d. o. o. Budva acted as a donor by providing this essential equipment.

Health Minister Vojislav Šimun emphasized that the quality of a healthcare system is reflected in its ability to bring medical protection closer to the people. He stated that providing continuous therapy in a patient's local community reduces the burden of travel and simplifies the organization of daily life for those dependent on regular treatment.
