Budva supermarket robbed of 320,000 euros by masked gunmen

Three masked men carried out an armed robbery at the Megamarket supermarket in the center of Budva, stealing approximately 320,000 euros. The incident occurred around 10:40 PM on a Saturday.

The perpetrators entered the market's office, where they encountered a female manager and two other employees. Using a handgun—which police are investigating to determine if it was real or fake—the robbers threatened the staff and forced the manager to hand over the cash from the safe. The stolen amount reportedly represents the market's turnover from the previous two days.

Market owner Balša Mitrović stated that the attackers entered through the warehouse side and that no employees were physically injured during the encounter. Following the robbery, the suspects fled in an unknown direction.

Budva police have initiated an intensive search, including blocking the immediate area and conducting field searches. The High State Prosecutor's Office in Podgorica has been notified, and authorities are working to identify and locate the suspects.
