Buen Camino breaks Italian box office records

The film ‘Buen Camino’, directed by Gennaro Nunziante and starring Checco Zalone, has set new records in the Italian box office. Since its release on December 25, 2025, the film has earned over 75 million euros, surpassing the previous record held by ‘Avatar’ to become the highest-grossing film in Italian history.

In addition to its financial success, the film reached a milestone of over 9.3 million viewers, making it the most-watched film of the Cinetel era. The story follows a wealthy heir who embarks on the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage to find his missing teenage daughter, a journey that forces him to confront a world far removed from his life of luxury.

Following its theatrical run, Mustang Entertainment is releasing the film on home video via DVD and Blu-ray.
