Buenos Aires City Lottery Announces $13.9 billion Jackpot and Blocks Prizes for Food‑debtors

The Buenos Aires City Lottery (LOTBA) announced that the next Loto Plus draw will take place on Saturday, 18 July 2026, with a jackpot of 13,967,000,000 Argentine pesos. The draw, held at 22:00 at the lottery headquarters, involves selecting six numbers from 0‑45 and an additional number from 0‑9, with a ticket price of 2,000 pesos.

LOTBA also signed an agreement to implement the Programa de Responsabilidad Alimentar, which blocks prize payments to any person listed in the public Register of Alimony Debtors (ReAM). Payments will remain frozen until a judge authorises release. President Jesús Acevedo explained, “O bloqueio dos prêmios permanecerá vigente até que o juiz que determinou a inscrição da pessoa no ReAM autorize a liberação.” The measure aims to enforce child‑support obligations and promote responsible gambling.
