Puebla begins bridge construction as Buenos Aires launches security operation

In Mexico, the municipal government of Puebla, led by Mayor Pepe Chedraui, has commenced construction of a vehicular bridge in the San Miguel Canoa auxiliary board. The project aims to improve connectivity, safety, and access to basic services for more than 23,880 residents. Officials noted the work is a response to long-standing community demands and is being coordinated with national public policies.

In Argentina, the Government of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires (CABA) launched a large-scale police operation to secure major transportation hubs and urban access points. Over 1,100 officers were deployed to monitor transit nodes, Metrobús corridors, and highways to deter crime and verify documentation. The operation, supervised by Mayor Jorge Macri, utilizes patrols, drones, and specialized units to maintain order in high-traffic areas.
