Buenos Aires electric bus service expands to Caminito

The electric bus service in Buenos Aires is expanding its route to include Caminito in the La Boca neighborhood. Starting Saturday, September 5, the eBus will operate on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from 9:00 to 18:00.

The extension aims to improve connectivity between major tourist attractions and transport hubs, specifically linking Caminito with the Benito Quinquela Martín Cruise Terminal. The new route includes 13 stops, with a primary station located at the intersection of Avenida Don Pedro de Mendoza and Alfredo L. Palacios.

City officials, including Mayor Jorge Macri and Minister of Mobility and Infrastructure Pablo Bereciartua, stated that the initiative promotes sustainable, silent, and environmentally friendly mobility. The service also facilitates connections with the Retiro Transfer Center, allowing passengers to link with various train lines and subway routes.
