Buenos Aires hosts charity galas for Fundaleu and local museum

Buenos Aires hosted two significant charity galas aimed at supporting local cultural and health institutions.

The XXVII Famosos por la Vida gala, held at the Alvear Palace, was organized to benefit Fundaleu (Foundation to Combat Leukemia). The event brought together various figures from the entertainment, fashion, and business sectors to support the foundation’s seventy years of work. Notable attendees included Juliana Awada, Susana Giménez, and Mariana Fabbiani.

Separately, the Association of Friends of the Isaac Fernández Blanco Hispanic American Art Museum held its annual benefit at the Mansión Estrugamou. The event, themed around 1930s Buenos Aires, hosted approximately 150 guests. Funds raised from the gala are designated for the restoration of the Casa Girondo and the construction of four new museum halls. Walter D’Aloia Criado, president of the Association, noted that the entity contributed 40 million pesos in 2025 toward museum development and activities.
