Buenos Aires hosts Festival Internacional de Buenos Aires (FIBA) 2026
The Festival Internacional de Buenos Aires (FIBA) 2026 has commenced and will run until September 20. The event features a diverse program of national and international productions across various venues in the city, encompassing theatre, dance, and contemporary languages.
International participants include productions from Spain, France, Brazil, Chile, Belgium, South Korea, Ecuador, Colombia, Switzerland, Bolivia, and Lithuania. Notable international titles include ‘Cicatriz’ from Spain, ‘Contre-nature’ from France, and ‘Dorian’ from Lithuania.
Argentine productions hold a central role in this edition. Additionally, the festival supports new playwrights through the 17th edition of the Germán Rozenmacher Prize for New Dramaturgy, organized in collaboration with the Universidad de Buenos Aires. The program also includes works from the Teatro Colón.
