Buenos Aires hosts major architecture and design festivals

Buenos Aires is hosting significant architectural and design events. Casa FOA will take place from October 1 to November 1 at the Palacio Molina in Barracas, the former Alpargatas factory. The exhibition features interventions in over 42 spaces across a 5,700 square meter area, including kitchens, spas, and gardens designed by various architecture firms. The event, which has run since 1985, benefits the Jorge Malbrán Ophthalmological Foundation (FOA).

Additionally, the Open House Buenos Aires festival will open more than 150 spaces to the public for free this weekend. This urbanism and architecture festival allows visitors to explore private homes, historical buildings, stadiums, and theaters that are typically closed to the public. The 2026 edition includes over 30 locations opening for the first time, such as the Nueva Chicago Stadium and Casa Mendoza.
