Buenos Aires introduces digital tools to support SMEs

Legislative bodies in the Buenos Aires region are introducing digital tools to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

The Province of Buenos Aires has passed a law to create a Digital Map of Exportable Offer. This tool is designed to identify and systematize information regarding companies within the province that have the capacity for international trade, as well as those with the potential to expand into foreign markets. The map aims to provide a permanent, updated reference of productive capacities to promote provincial export strategies.

In the City of Buenos Aires, a bill has been presented to the Legislature to establish an Integral SME Platform. This proposed system seeks to centralize administrative procedures, fiscal documentation, and assistance programs for micro, small, and medium enterprises. The initiative aims to reduce bureaucratic costs through digital management and an interoperability system, allowing businesses to submit documentation only once to various government agencies.
