Argentina hosts diverse cultural and film festivals in September
Argentina is hosting several significant cultural events throughout September, highlighted by the Festival Internacional de Buenos Aires (FIBA). Running from September 9 to 20, FIBA will feature theater, dance, and music across 44 venues in Buenos Aires, involving artists from 15 different countries.
In Mar del Plata, the Teatro Auditorium will host a free screening of the documentary ‘Una canción para mi tierra’, directed by Mauricio Albornoz Iniesta. The film addresses the impact of agrochemicals on rural school communities. Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food donations for local institutions.
Additionally, the city of Resistencia will host the first ‘El Sol’ International Short Film and University Pitching Festival from September 10 to 12. Organized by the Universidad Nacional del Nordeste, the event focuses on university-level audiovisual production and includes project pitching sessions and workshops.
