Buenos Aires opens new community health center in Colegiales
The City of Buenos Aires has opened the CeSAC 51 Community Health and Action Center in the Colegiales neighborhood. The facility was created by transforming a 274-square-meter former railway warehouse at the intersection of Moldes and Zabala streets.
The project, which cost 1.333 billion pesos, provides access to primary care services including general medicine, pediatrics, gynecology, psychiatry, nutrition, and various diagnostic imaging and specialized services. This marks the fourth such center opened during the current administration as part of a broader plan to strengthen primary healthcare and allow residents to access specialists near their homes.
Government officials noted that this initiative is part of an extensive infrastructure plan involving over 500 new intensive care units and various expansions across several major hospitals and diagnostic centers throughout the city.
