Buenos Aires police seize Nazi‑themed weapons cache in senior’s home

Police responded to a 911 call after an 89‑year‑old man in the Flores neighborhood of Buenos Aires became medically decompensated. While providing emergency assistance, officers entered the residence and discovered a large arsenal of weapons and Nazi‑symbolic items.

The cache included 14 handguns, a heavy machine gun on a tripod, two heavy rifles, eleven assorted rifles and carbines, substantial ammunition, explosive‑related material and objects bearing Nazi insignia. A judicial order led to a joint operation by the police scientific, ballistics and explosives units, and the seized items are now being examined to determine whether they were properly registered with the National Agency of Controlled Materials (ANMAC).
