Buenos Aires poll shows Peronism barely ahead of La Libertad Avanza; party names new regional coordinator

A survey conducted by the consultancy Afiches between 1 and 4 July found the Peronist coalition at 26 % of voter intention in Buenos Ayres province, just one point ahead of the libertarian La Libertad Avanza at 25 %. The margin falls within the competitiveness window, with 20 % of respondents still undecided and other parties polling well below 10 %. The poll also measured leader images, reporting a balanced view for Axel Kicillof (47 % positive/negative) and a slightly more negative rating for Javier Milei (43 % positive, 53 % negative).

In a related development, La Libertad Avanza announced the appointment of Jeremías Casali as the new coordinator of the province’s seventh electoral section, replacing Pablo Disalvo. The change is part of an internal re‑organisation aimed at strengthening the party’s structure ahead of the 2027 provincial elections. Disalvo will continue work in the local area of Azul and retain his role as national director of municipal affairs. The party highlighted the move as a step to consolidate its presence in the seventh section and reinforce its legislative team.
