Buenos Aires province debates youth councilor age cut and pension health crisis

Retiree leader Ramón Esquivel warned that the PAMI health system is in crisis, citing a 55 % cut in funding in the first quarter of the year and a further 30 % reduction in April. He described mounting debts to pharmacies and doctors, overcrowded clinics in Junín, and a rise in retiree deaths, blaming the national government's austerity measures under President Javier Milei for jeopardizing elderly care.
