Buenos Aires Province expands university access and technology

Buenos Aires Province Minister of Government Carlos Bianco has implemented several educational initiatives across the province through the Puentes and Conectar Igualdad Bonaerense programs.

In Hénderson, officials delivered computers to students from three local educational institutions and signed a second Puentes program agreement to fund the expansion of the local University Center. The project includes constructing two new classrooms, an administrative area, and extending an existing gallery.

In Bolívar, Bianco and Mayor Eduardo Bucca inaugurated improvements and new equipment at the Centro Regional Universitario de Bolívar (CRUB). Funded by the Puentes program, the upgrades include technological equipment such as computers, videoconferencing tools, and laboratory supplies. The initiative also introduced new academic offerings, including a Diploma in Artificial Intelligence from the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional and a micro-credential in Data Analysis from the Universidad Nacional Arturo Jauretche.

Minister Bianco stated that the provincial government, under Governor Axel Kicillof, views these investments in university, science, and technology as essential for social opportunity and prosperity.
