Buenos Aires Province launches “Que se vea” contest to combat child labor

The Buenos Aires Province has launched the second edition of the “Que se vea” contest, an initiative aimed at university students to raise awareness about child and adolescent labor. Organized by the Ministry of Labor, the Provincial Commission for the Prevention and Eradication of Child Labor (COPRETI), and the Ministry of Public Communication, the competition invites students in fields such as communication, journalism, design, advertising, and content production to create a 360-degree communication campaign.

The goal of the contest is to promote a cultural shift and challenge social perceptions regarding child labor. To participate, students must be enrolled in universities located within the province of Buenos Aires. Teams must consist of two to four members and can optionally include a university professor as an advisor.

Registration is open until August 31, with project submissions accepted until September 14. The winning team will receive a computer for each member and the opportunity to have their communication strategy adopted as the official provincial campaign.
