Buenos Aires Province teachers and kinesiology professionals demand wage and fee reforms

In Buenos Aires Province, the Frente de Unidad Docente Bonaerense (FUDB) met with provincial authorities and reported that no salary increase was offered to teachers. The coalition of teachers' unions called for an urgent salary recomposition to keep pace with inflation, the application of the Resguardo y Reparación agreement, and other improvements to working conditions.

Separately, the College of Kinesiology of Buenos Aires Province (CoKiBA) condemned a new municipal fee imposed by La Plata that requires kinesiology clinics to pay for a "habilitation" permit. CoKiBA said the fee violates provincial health regulations, has led to heavy fines, and announced plans for a collective lawsuit to overturn the measure.

Both groups are pressing provincial and municipal governments for policy changes that would protect the income and professional rights of educators and health practitioners in the region.
