The Public Health Commission of the Buenos Aires Senate has placed two major provincial government initiatives on hold. The projects, defended by Health Minister Nicolás Kreplak, were paused to allow for further study before a formal vote.

The first initiative, the Integrated Health System of the Province of Buenos Aires (SIPBA), seeks to coordinate the public, private, and social security health sectors under the provincial Ministry of Health. A key component of this plan is the creation of a Buenos Aires Care and Attention Network, organized by complexity levels.

The second project involves the creation of the Buenos Aires Pharmaceutical Industry Center. This initiative aims to strengthen the public production of medicines and medical products to ensure supply for the province and its municipalities while reducing acquisition costs.
