Buenos Aires to host massive ‘March for Jesus’ mobilization

Thousands of Christians are expected to gather in central Buenos Aires on Monday, August 17, for the ‘March for Jesus’ event. The mobilization aims to provide a day of prayer, worship, and a public proclamation of faith for Argentina and its authorities.

The march is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m. at the intersection of Avenida de Mayo and Perú Street, proceeding toward the National Congress. The program will feature various speakers from different faith communities, as well as musicians and sports personalities. Organizers describe the event as a significant expression of evangelical unity intended to convey a message of hope and peace.

Originating in London in 1987 through organizations such as Youth With A Mission, Pioneer, and Ichthus, the movement has since expanded into an international phenomenon. In Argentina, the event follows previous large-scale gatherings, such as a recent rally in Rosario.
