Buenos Aires hosts Archaeology and Paleontology Week
The city of Buenos Aires is hosting the XII Archaeology and Paleontology Week from October 5 to 9. The event features guided tours, workshops, lectures, and conferences focused on the city's archaeological and paleontological sites.
Designed to bring these disciplines closer to the general public, the initiative aims to highlight their relevance within the urban context and reconstruct lost histories to aid in the preservation of heritage. Participating locations include various historical sites such as Zanjón de Granados, El Cabildo, and several city museums, including the Bernardino Rivadavia Natural Sciences Museum. While lectures and conferences are open to the public without prior registration, guided tours and workshops require advance sign-up.
