Buenos Aires tourism officials meet to strengthen regional cooperation
Tourism officials and professionals from various municipalities in the Buenos Aires province recently gathered in Azul for the V 'Profesionales en Acción' conferences. Organized by the Colegio de Profesionales en Turismo de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, the event aimed to strengthen regional cooperation, professionalize the sector, and develop complementary tourism circuits.
Participants included representatives from Azul, Benito Juárez, Olavarría, Balcarce, Tandil, Bolívar, and Daireaux. Discussions focused on tourism as a driver for local economic development, improving tourism quality, and attracting more travelers. Notably, Azul and Tandil are working on a regional agenda involving the National Route 226 corridor.
In a separate development regarding digital transformation, the Balcarce Tourism Subsecretariat participated in training focused on applying artificial intelligence to the tourism industry. This training, part of the HakIAton Turismo initiative, aimed to use AI for content creation, destination promotion, and solving industry challenges.
