Buffalo 8 secures home rights for Werner Herzog documentary

Buffalo 8 Distribution has acquired the home entertainment rights for the documentary ‘Ghost Elephants’, directed by Werner Herzog. The deal was finalized during the Toronto Film Festival in partnership with Sobey Road Entertainment.

The film follows a decade-long expedition led by National Geographic Explorer Dr. Steve Boyes through the highlands of Angola. The documentary tracks the search for a rare elephant population using a combination of scientific research and traditional KhoiSan tracking techniques. Herzog describes the project as an exploration of imagination weighed against reality.
