Buffalo Bills coach Joe Brady seeks more offensive role for Ray Davis

Buffalo Bills head coach Joe Brady has expressed a desire to increase the offensive involvement of running back Ray Davis. Despite the team's 3-0 start to the season, Davis has seen minimal usage on offense, recording only one carry for three yards through the first three games.

Brady noted that Davis is “too good of a player” to not have a larger role and emphasized that the player deserves more opportunities due to his work ethic. Currently, the Bills' backfield has been dominated by lead running back James Cook III, while Ty Johnson has also seen significant snaps following his return from a hamstring injury.

While Davis has been utilized on special teams, including his role as a kick returner, the coaching staff aims to integrate his power running abilities into the offensive scheme moving forward, potentially starting with the upcoming game against the New England Patriots.
