Buffalo Bills defense remains a focus amid trade rumors

Despite a 5-1 record, the Buffalo Bills face scrutiny regarding their defensive performance. While the offense has been productive under new head coach Joe Brady, the defense ranks 31st in defensive yardage and 28th in points through six games.

Key defensive players include outside linebacker Greg Rousseau, defensive tackle Deone Walker, and cornerback Christian Benford. However, the secondary and inside linebacker corps remain areas of concern as the team adapts to a hybrid scheme under defensive coordinator Jim Leonhard.

With injuries affecting the defensive line, specifically Ed Oliver, rumors have surfaced regarding potential trades. Reports suggest the Indianapolis Colts may be interested in trading defensive tackles DeForest Buckner and Grover Stewart before the November 10 deadline, providing a potential opportunity for the Bills to bolster their interior defense.
