Buffalo Bills eye defensive upgrades ahead of trade deadline

The Buffalo Bills are reportedly looking to acquire defensive reinforcements before the November 10 trade deadline to address significant weaknesses in their unit. Despite a 5-1 start under head coach Joe Brady, the team's defense has struggled, ranking 30th in scoring defense, 31st in total yards, and 32nd in EPA per play.

Key areas of concern include the pass defense and the pass rush. The Bills have allowed the second-most passing yards in the league and rank 28th in pass rush win rate. While outside linebacker Gregory Rousseau and tackle Deone Walker have been notable performers, the team lacks consistent pressure. General manager Brandon Beane may seek upgrades at multiple levels, including the pass rush and inside linebacker positions.
