Buffalo Bills face bye week amid defensive concerns

The Buffalo Bills enter their Week 7 bye week with a 5-1 record, maintaining the AFC’s No. 2 seed. While the team cannot lose its current seeding during the break, they are also unable to move into the No. 1 spot, which is currently held by the Kansas City Chiefs.

Despite their strong record, the Bills face significant challenges in their pass defense, ranking 31st overall after surrendering 1,715 passing yards through six games. To address coverage issues at cornerback and safety, analysts have suggested a potential trade for Washington Commanders cornerback Amik Robertson before the November 10 deadline. Robertson, who can play both slot and boundary positions, has been a productive defensive back for Washington this season.
