NFL preseason updates: Bears, Bengals, and Eagles prepare for roster cuts

As the NFL preseason nears its conclusion, several teams are finalizing rosters and managing injuries. The Chicago Bears recently suffered a 27-9 preseason loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. During the game, Bears defensive back Coby Bryant sustained a knee injury that is expected to sideline him for four to six months.

In Cincinnati, the Bengals have maintained a 2-0 preseason record. Discussions regarding the team's preseason MVP include players such as Dohnte Meyers, rookie Colbie Young, and linebacker Swayze Bozeman. The Bengals are also reportedly looking to bolster their offensive line, specifically at the swing tackle position, which could potentially lead to trade discussions involving the Bears' depth at tackle.

Meanwhile, the Philadelphia Eagles have released their final unofficial preseason depth chart ahead of their upcoming matchup against the Bengals. The chart lists Jalen Hurts as the starting quarterback and Saquon Barkley as the lead running back.

All teams are preparing for the August 30 deadline to trim rosters to 53 players.
