Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen to produce HBO special

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is set to produce an HBO special titled “The Buffalo Miracle,” which is scheduled to air on November 24. The documentary focuses on the heroism displayed during the severe 2022 blizzard that struck Western New York around Christmas.

The special highlights the actions of McDonald’s employees Jeffrey Spangler, Kristin Kosha, and Amanda Kendall at a restaurant in Amherst, New York. During the extreme storm, the workers kept their location open to provide warmth and safety for over 50 people.

The 2022 blizzard was one of the most severe in the region's history, resulting in 47 deaths and wind gusts reaching 72 mph. The storm caused significant travel disruptions, trapping emergency responders and making roads impossible to navigate due to zero visibility and heavy snowfall.
