Buffalo Bills weigh trade for pass rusher Maxx Crosby

The Buffalo Bills are exploring a trade for Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby to bolster a pass rush that has long been a weakness. After signing Bradley Chubb and drafting TJ Parker this offseason, the Bills remain interested in an impact pass rusher. A previous trade involving Crosby and the Baltimore Ravens collapsed because of medical concerns, leaving the Raiders with the player.

ESPN NFL insider Dan Graziano said Buffalo is one of four teams that could realistically pursue Crosby, but trade discussion is expected to heat up only after Crosby demonstrates his health, possibly in August. Crosby has said the earlier trade talks are “water under the bridge” and expressed his desire to stay with the Raiders. He recorded 10 sacks and two forced fumbles last season, and acquiring him would give the Bills a significant boost to their quarterback pressure.
