Buffalo State University athletics report recent multi-sport results

Buffalo State University athletics reported several recent results across multiple programs. In women’s volleyball, the team opened the Bengal Challenge with a 3-1 victory over the University of Rochester, led by Ella Wittman’s 18 kills. However, the team subsequently lost two matches on the second day of the challenge, falling 3-1 to John Carroll University and 3-1 to SUNY Geneseo.

The women’s soccer team faced a defeat against Lycoming College, losing 7-5 in a shootout match held in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Riley Stevenson and Lilly Jaroszewski each scored two goals during the contest.

In cross country, both the men’s and women’s teams competed at the Rochester Yellowjacket Invite. The men’s team finished tenth overall, with Ricky Curiel leading the group, while the women’s team placed 14th, led by Ayla Harrington.
