Buffalo Traffic Jam releases debut album “Pictures of You”

American indie‑folk duo Buffalo Traffic Jam, consisting of Frankie Cassidy and Nathan Ross, issued their first full‑length album “Pictures of You” on July 31 via Arista Records. The 14‑track collection, produced by Sam Westhoff, Carrie K, Ryan Hadlock, Joe Becker and Brian Elmquist, explores themes of aging, memory and family, inspired by Cassidy’s reflections after his grandmother’s death.

The release follows the pre‑album single “Luckiest Man Alive” and the breakout hit “Fool’s Gold,” which has amassed over 95 million streams and reached No. 3 on the AAA radio chart. After a self‑titled EP in 2024, the duo has sold out headline shows across North America, earned Billboard’s March 2026 Chartbreaker title and logged 4.4 million monthly Spotify listeners. They will continue touring in the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

The album’s title track and other songs such as “Buyin Dirt” and “Older Too Young to Die” feature intimate vocals, mandolin and banjo arrangements that convey personal storytelling against a backdrop of folk instrumentation.
