Buffer to release limited ‘E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial’ inspired collection

The fashion brand Buffer, led by creative director Toru Nishiyama, is releasing a limited collection inspired by Steven Spielberg’s 1982 film ‘E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial’. The collection features graphic items designed by illustrators Kazuma Mikami and Tomu Oriyama.

The lineup includes three primary apparel types: the ‘E.T. Doodle’ T-shirt, which mimics childhood sketches; the ‘E.T. Elliott’s Desk’ T-shirt, featuring a comic-style design of E.T. peeking from a desk; and the ‘LS tee E.T. Fly Me To The Moon’ long-sleeve T-shirt, which reimagines the iconic bicycle scene as a poster for a fictional video rental shop.

In addition to the film-inspired pieces, Buffer will release original items including a sweatshirt, socks, and a beanie. The collection is scheduled for release on October 17 at the Buffer Store in Shibuya, Tokyo, and through the brand’s official online store.
