Bugarra and Moixent receive education and culture subsidies

The town council of Bugarra in the Valencian Community was awarded a €3,313.58 grant from the Conselleria de Educación, Cultura, Universidades y Empleo of the Generalitat Valenciana. The funding will support extra‑school activities for students aged 3‑18 during the 2025‑2026 school year, including English lessons on Wednesdays and a multi‑sport program on Fridays, as well as July events such as a gymkhana and a musical performance.

The neighbouring municipality of Moixent secured a €15,549.49 contribution under the SARC 2026 programme administered by the Área de Cultura of the Diputación Provincial de Valencia. The money will finance a series of cultural initiatives throughout 2026, ranging from a correfoc and storytelling workshops to ceramic games, creative writing sessions and a night‑time event celebrating the legends of Jaume I.
