Bugatti Tourbillon prototype involved in collision in Spain
A prototype of the Bugatti Tourbillon was involved in a collision with a Volkswagen Polo in the Sierra Nevada mountains near Granada, Spain. Video footage captured the incident, which occurred when a line of vehicles approached a temporary traffic light installed for roadworks.
The Bugatti prototype, which is currently in its development phase, was traveling behind a Kia XCeed when the Volkswagen Polo failed to stop in time, striking the rear of the hypercar. While the exact extent of the damage is unknown as the footage ends at the moment of impact, the Tourbillon features highly sculpted carbon fiber components that are costly to repair.
The Bugatti Tourbillon is a limited-production model with a starting price of approximately 3.8 million euros before taxes. Only 250 units are planned for production.
