Bugatti unveils bespoke W16 Mistral inspired by “The Little Prince”

Bugatti’s final edition of the W16‑engine Mistral roadster has been personalized for a private collector under the Sur Mesure program. Limited to 99 units, the 8.0‑litre V16 produces 1,600 hp and can exceed 400 km/h. The customer commissioned a unique “Le Retour du Petit Prince” theme, prompting Bugatti’s Molsheim atelier to develop an exclusive copper‑and‑bronze paint finish that mimics moonlight, with gold accents on the iconic horseshoe grille and copper‑coloured brake calipers.

The rear wing and flanks feature hand‑applied silver stars, while the interior incorporates Terre d’Or leather, embroidered moon motifs, and a silver‑finished rose on the shift lever – a direct reference to Saint‑Exupéry’s classic. The bespoke touches turn the hyper‑car into a moving work of literary art.
