Bugatti unveils one-off W16 Mistral 'Le Retour du Jeune Prince' hypercar

Bugatti presented a unique, one‑off version of its W16 Mistral roadster at its Molsheim factory in Alsace, France. Named "Le Retour du Jeune Prince," the hypercar is a tribute to Antoine de Saint‑Exupéry's classic *The Little Prince* and was created through Bugatti's Sur Mesure bespoke program. The client, a longtime Bugatti collector, supplied a personal continuation of the story, which the designers turned into a rolling work of art. The vehicle features a copper‑and‑bronze colour scheme that mimics moonlight, a hand‑painted starry sky across the rear, gold‑finished grille details, copper‑finished brake calipers and custom‑engraved characters in the quad‑turbo‑charged 8.0‑liter W16 engine. Every element, from the wheel centre caps to the hidden illustration under the airbrake, reflects the literary theme, making the car both a high‑performance machine and a personalised artistic statement.
