Bugatti unveils restored Veyron with updated wheel specifications

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Bugatti Veyron, the brand’s personalization division, La Maison Pur Sang, has unveiled a unique restoration project. The initiative aims to modernize the hypercar while preserving its iconic proportions.

A significant technical update involves the vehicle's wheels and tires. The original Machiavelli-style wheels used non-standard sizes that required expensive, specialized tires costing approximately $40,000 per set. The new design features 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels, allowing owners to use standard tire dimensions similar to those used on the Bugatti Chiron, such as the Michelin Pilot Sport series.

The restored model also features a new color scheme, combining ‘Rouge Rembrandt’ with ‘Petrol Blue’ and a Magnolia interior. This project is part of Bugatti's effort to offer certified restoration and reinterpretation services for its most valuable historical vehicles.
