Bugojno launches STEM project for youth digital skills

The Bugojno Youth Center, in partnership with the INPUT Youth Center, has launched a new project titled ‘STEM – Future Creators of Digital Bugojno’. The initiative aims to introduce children and young people to modern technologies and develop their digital skills through creative and practical learning.

The project is currently seeking volunteer mentors to undergo training in areas such as 3D modeling, 3D printing, electronics (including Arduino and microBlocks), and programming. The goal is to build a local network of young people who can pass their knowledge on to future generations, encouraging them to use technology as a tool for problem-solving and innovation.

The project is supported by the Telemach Foundation through its Regional Grants Program, which provides financial and mentorship support to non-profit organizations in smaller local communities across Bosnia and Herzegovina to foster long-term positive effects in education and environmental protection.
