Bugojno teenager dies after head injury during car accident

A 14-year-old boy from Bugojno has died following a tragic accident in the Drvetine settlement. The incident occurred while the teenager was helping to push a broken-down vehicle along the roadway, resulting in severe head injuries.

Emergency medical services initially stabilized the boy in Bugojno before transferring him to the “Dr. fra Mato Nikolić” hospital in Nova Bila. Despite intensive medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries. Police have identified two other individuals present during the accident, males with the initials E. V. (born 2002) and E. K. (born 2004), both from the Bugojno municipality.

The Central Bosnia Canton Cantonal Prosecutor's Office has been notified and has ordered a detailed investigation. Criminal police officers from the Bugojno Police Administration are currently conducting on-site inspections and collecting evidence to determine the exact circumstances of the accident.
