Buhler Versatile completes acquisition of ATLAS Gruppe

Buhler Versatile, a Canadian manufacturer of agricultural machinery, has officially completed the acquisition of the ATLAS Gruppe's operating business as of October 1, 2026.

The German construction machinery manufacturer, based in Ganderkesee, had previously entered insolvency proceedings in February 2026. Following a structured international investor process managed by PwC, the transaction has now closed, ensuring that over 200 jobs at ATLAS will be maintained.

Integration of the ATLAS operating business into Buhler Versatile's processes is expected to take place in the coming weeks. The terms and purchase price of the transaction remain confidential.
